Brittany is a 2018 graduate of the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT). She also holds a degree from Simon Fraser University and a diploma in Registered Holistic Nutrition. With a background as a former professional dancer and competitive athlete, Brittany was drawn to massage therapy for its unique combination of health and wellness, injury rehabilitation, and functional anatomy.
During her time at VCMT, Brittany gained experience through a wide range of clinical outreaches, including Louis Brier Home and Hospital, Positive Living, Helping Spirit Lodge, Dynasty Gym, Studio55 Gym, Burnaby Mental Health, Ronald McDonald House, and VCMT’s Prenatal In-Reach program. She has worked with a variety of conditions, including chronic pain, tension headaches, migraines, prenatal-related discomfort, nerve compression injuries, post-surgical scarring, overuse injuries, and sports-related injuries.
Following the completion of her case study, Brittany developed a focused interest in nerve compression injuries and myofascial release for post-surgical scarring. She is COAT® certified, a specialized modality that supports functional scar tissue formation and pain reduction. As someone who personally experiences migraines and tension headaches, Brittany brings both professional expertise and personal insight to this area of care, and has received consistent positive feedback from patients experiencing symptom relief.
As a mom, Brittany has a strong appreciation for the physical and emotional changes that accompany pregnancy and early postpartum life. This perspective allows her to connect naturally with prenatal and postpartum patients, offering treatments that are both clinically effective and deeply supportive. She prioritizes comfort, safety, and individualized care, helping expectant and new mothers feel at ease while addressing pregnancy-related pain, tension, and postural changes.
Brittany believes in an integrated treatment approach, focusing on each patient’s primary concern while also addressing compensatory patterns and treating the body as a whole. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys dancing, strength training, yoga, and continuing her education in movement and nutrition.
